Scotts Valley K9 sniffs out over 12 lbs of marijuana on 4/20

A Scotts Valley K9 named Atlas helped the department start off 4/20 on a high note.

A vehicle was stopped for a mechanical violation and a search yielded 5 bags containing marijuana. The combined weight of the marijuana was over 12 pounds.

The Department are taking this time to remind the public to drive responsibly and have a safe day.
