Boy drowns near Moss Landing
A boy was swept off the rocks near Moss Landing at around 3 p.m. Friday.
The Coast Guard used a boat and a helicopter to look for him and CalFire responded on land and with a drone.
He was found at about 5:30 p.m. and EMS took him to Watsonville Community Hospital.
It was there that he was pronounced dead by the coroner.
