Man arrested in Monterey County when found with stolen items in vehicle

A man was arrested in Monterey County, Saturday, for numerous alleged car burglaries along the coast. A Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputy found a car, believed to be involved these burglaries, at the Mid-Valley Shopping Center yesterday. The Sheriff’s Office says the deputy apprehended the suspect, Reynaldo Gomez.

Stolen purses, credit cards, passports, electronics, and other valuables were found inside the vehicle. An investigation determined all of the items were stolen Saturday, March 17th.

Gomez was booked into the Monterey County Jail on burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools charges.
