Off-duty Gilroy police officer arrested for DUI in Hollister

An off-duty Gilroy police officer was arrested in Hollister accused of driving under the influence.

Gilroy Police said the officer was taken into custody late Wednesday, March 14th or early Thursday the 15th. Details of the incident are under investigation by the Internal Affairs unit of the Gilroy Police Department.

The officer’s name it not being released at this time.
