Avalanche at Squaw Valley Ski Resort
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is at the scene of an avalanche at Squaw Valley Ski Resort.
“All parties believed to be accounted for,” a sheriff’s tweet said Friday afternoon.

Squaw Valley announced it had to close for the day due to increased avalanche hazard.

Earlier, a missing snowboarder was found dead at the Ski Resort.
