CHP patrol car overturns in Hollister crash

A California Highway Patrol officer was involved in a three car crash in Hollister.

The accident occurred on San Felipe Road at Highway 156 late Wednesday night.

31-year-old patrol officer, Jeremy Muster was parked on the northbound shoulder of Hwy 156 when he attempted to pull over a Chevy Trailblazer for speeding. In that time, a Honda Civic in the southbound lane crossed over the double yellow lines and struck the Trailblazer. The Honda went out of control and hit the left side of the patrol car causing it to overturn.

Both the CHP officer, and the driver of the Trailblazer suffered minor injuries.

CHP does not believe alcohol was involved.
