Monterey County Sheriff’s Office searching for Prunedale armed robbery suspects

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects in a Prunedale armed robbery, Saturday morning. They say two people walked into the Arco off of Vierra Canyon Road at about 8 a.m., and robbed the employees at gunpoint. The amount of money stolen is unknown.

The suspects fled in a newer model silver Lexus IS sedan with tinted windows. The license plate possibly begins with a 6 and ends in 771 or 711.

The Sheriff’s office has pictures of the car and one of the suspects. That person is described as being white or Hispanic, in his mid to late 20’s, 5’7-5’8, slender build, brown hair, brown eyes, with a thinly shaved goatee/beard.

The second suspect is possibly a white male, 5’10-6’0, and slender.

If you have any information, call the Sheriff’s office at 831-755-3722, or the Tip Line at 888-833-4847. You can remain anonymous.
