A law enforcement task force says it has solved a string of armed robberies that happened in November 2017.

The Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics team announced the arrest Friday of two men accused of robbing a motel, convenience store, and gas station in the early morning hours of November 29, 2017.

Izaac Diaz, 24, and Mathew Silva, 20, both of Gilroy, are suspected of robbing a Motel 6 at 140 Kern Street in Salinas, a 7-11 store at 320 Reservation Road in Marina, and a 76 gas station at 1600 Fremont Blvd. in Seaside.

Diaz was already in custody in connection to robberies in San Benito and Santa Clara Counties.

Silva was arrested Thursday, Feb. 22, by Gilroy police and PRVNT detectives.
