Greenfield’s $442,000 lottery winner ID’d

UPDATE: 2/22/2018 1:37 p.m. The lucky lottery winner out of Greenfield has been identified.

Salvador Fonseca won the $442,232 Mega Millions jackpot on January 19.

“I was jumping all over the living room,” Fonseca said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Mendoza Market, located at 103 El Camino Real in Greenfield. He matched the following numbers: 49, 3, 23, 66, and 17 missing only the Mega number 23.

Fonseca said the money will give him more flexibility with his budget.

“It’s going to change my life all the way around.”

Someone is $442,000 richer thanks to a winning lottery ticket purchased in Greenfield.

There was no Mega Millions Jackpot winner in Friday’s(1/19) drawing however a ticket sold at Mendoza Market at 103 El Camino Real matched five of the six numbers.

The winning numbers were 49, 3, 23, 66 and 17, Mega number 23.

The winner has yet to come forward.
