Watsonville man arrested for sex crimes involving a minor
A man was arrested in Capitola for several sex crimes involving a minor.
Watsonville resident, Brett Bartle is accused of crimes that occurred several years ago. An investigation led to a warrant for his arrest. Capitola Police said the acts involved one child with whom Bartle had “unique access to.”
Bartle’s charges include four counts of rape, eight counts of lewd acts against a child and eight more for sexual battery. His bond has been set for $1,000,000.
