King City Police investigate Friday morning homicide

The King City Police Department is investigating a homicide Friday morning.

Officers responded to reports of a possible gunshot victim around 6:35 a.m. and found 22-year-old Juan Manuel Ceja of King City, dead inside a parked car at 450 Jayne Street.

“Victim died as a result of a gunshot wound,” said Cpt. Allen Rowe.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the homicide.

Anyone with information regarding suspicious activity in the 400 block of Pearl Street between the hours of 9 p.m. on Thursday and 6:30 a.m. Friday is asked to call King City Police at 831-385-4848.
