SWAT team busts Carmel Valley drug dealer
The Monterey County Sheriff’s SWAT team busted a man in possession of several drugs at a lodge in Carmel Valley.
Thursday, the SWAT team served a search warrant for drug sales at an abandoned lodge located in Carmel Valley Village. Commander John Thornburg said, that’s where they found suspect, Michael Shawn Sobel in possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and marijuana.
The Sheriff’s Office said Sobel had enough drug items consistent with sales. The SWAT team also found ammunition on the felon before his arrest.
