Santa Cruz Police search for man who shot someone at Blue Lagoon
SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION)- Around 12:33 a.m. Santa Cruz Police responded to reports of a shooting on Pacific Avenue at The Blue Lagoon.
When officers arrived they searched for victims and suspects and during the investigation learned that someone has sustained a gunshot wound at the bar.
The 24-year-old victim from Santa Cruz County took themselves to the hospital.
After an initial investigation officers learned that a verbal altercation in the bar led to a confrontation in the bathroom.
The solo suspect then shot at the victim.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, 20-30 years of age, 6'2, approximately 250- 275 Ibs. with shoulder-length black curly hair.
The suspect sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking if anyone has information to come forward.
