One of the best cities in the U.S.? Santa Cruz
Nat Geo Travel has named Santa Cruz as one of the best 30 cities in the U.S.
The National Geographic’s national travel magazine says there’s a lot to love about Santa Cruz, from the new Abbott Square restaurant and market zone to live music venues.
The beach town is one of six cities (Boulder, Colorado; Honolulu, Hawaii; Ann Arbor, Michigan; Charlottseville, Virginia and Portland, Maine) that also appeared on National Geographic’s list of happiest cities in America.
Nat Geo says it partnered with a global destination branding company to identify American cities for its list. They looked at everything from nightlife, culture and restaurants to green spaces and even breweries.
