Search dogs look for survivors in Southern California following deadly storm

KEYT- The Search Dog Foundation has dogs on the ground assisting with rescue efforts after deadly mudslides left parts of Santa Barbara County covered in mud and debris.

Yesterday afternoon, Search Dog Foundation-trained search teams Eric Gray & Riley with Santa Barbara County Fire and Wade Haller & Rex with Long Beach Fire were deployed to the Montecito area, where 13 people are confirmed dead.

We’ve watched Riley (pictured above) searching homes in the area looking for any survivors.

Another search team Davis Doty & Jester with Orange County Fire Authority are also preparing to deploy to assist in rescue efforts.

The teams are busy in the field but will be reporting any updates they get, as soon as they get them.
