Monterey Bay Aquarium offers free admission for Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito County residents

The Monterey Bay Aquarium is offering free admission to its tri-county community this holiday.

All Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito County residents can receive free admission between Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 10.

To gain free admission, aquarium goers must bring a photo ID and proof of current Monterey, Santa Cruz or San Benito County residence. Students can bring current school identification cards from any university or community college located within any of these counties, utility bills or Monterey-Salinas Transit, Santa Cruz Metro and San Benito County Express monthly bus passes are also a valid proof of residence.

Free admission is good for regular aquarium hours between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
