Morgan Hill Police Department seeing rise in auto burglaries

The Morgan Hill Police Department is asking area residents to be extra cautious when leaving their cars unattended.

Morgan Hill has been seeing an uptick in auto burglaries in town, especially at shopping centers.

Officials say by doing a couple of basic things, you can help keep yourself from being a victim.

They recommend locking your doors, and keeping your windows up, as well as keeping valuables out of plain sight. And most of all, they say know your surroundings and look out for each other.
