Man arrested after vandalizing business in Watsonville

Police have arrested 27-year-old Trent Maielua after he used a skateboard to break the front windows of a Domino’s Pizza in Watsonville.

Officers received a call of the incident just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

An officer on patrol in the area saw Maielua running from the scene and detained him.

A witness was able to positively identify Maielua as the suspect and he was then arrested for felony vandalism and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.

Police say the cost to repair the windows is more than $500.
