Deadly crash on Highway 17 in Los Gatos
One person was killed in a crash on Highway 17 in the Los Gatos area Monday night.
According to the San Jose California Highway Patrol, it happened just after 6 p.m. near the Cats restaurant.
The driver of a one-ton truck headed north on the highway crossed over into the southbound lanes near the restaurant and collided with another vehicle. Two other vehicles were also involved in the crash.
The southbound lanes of Highway 17 remain closed. Officers are asking drivers to use alternate routes to Santa Cruz.
