Ex-officer in Breonna Taylor raid said he saw AR-15 fire

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Brett Hankison said he believed the Louisville officers who raided Breonna Taylor’s apartment were taking fire from an AR-15 rifle. He was interviewed by a police investigator about two weeks after Taylor’s killing, and he says his view of the long gun is why he fired 10 shots into her apartment.  But there were no long guns found in her apartment, according to police integrity unit Sgt. Jason Vance, who played the interview in court on Thursday.  Hankison is charged with wanton endangerment for shooting through Taylor’s apartment into the home of her neighbor.
