Resident alerts fire station about flames across the street on Capitola Avenue

CAPITOLA, Calif. (KION-TV) Central Fire District put out a fire under the bridge on Capitola Avenue Monday evening.

At around 5:30 p.m., Officer Zamora reported the fire, but according to CFD, a local resident knocked on the station's door to let them know about the flames burning right across the street.

Two engines were sent out to extinguish the fire.
