Pacific Grove: Thieves steal thousands of dollars worth of copper

The Pacific Grove Police Department needs help tracking down the suspects responsible for stealing $12,000 worth of copper wire.

This week around 3:00 a.m. 10 spools of copper wire were taken from the 2000 block of Sunset Drive. The department believes multiple suspects forced entry into a business and loaded the spools of wire onto an unknown truck and trailer.

The spools weigh between 400 pounds to 1,000 pounds each.
