County officials approve renovations for Aptos shopping center

The County of Santa Cruz approved proposed renovations at the Rancho Del Mar shopping center at State Park Drive and Soquel Drive in Aptos.

After a public hearing Friday, the Zoning Administrator granted approval to begin renovations and other improvements on the 10.5-acre site.

Renovations include, the outdoor dining area, signage replacements, parking lot landscaping and ADA accessibility upgrades.

County officials said the project also includes turning the vacant cinema building into a retail space.
