NEW YORK (AP) — Prince Andrew’s lawyers have asked a U.S. court again to throw out a lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse, citing multiple legal defenses. Among them: The lawyers said if any sexual activity did occur between the prince and Virginia Giuffre, it was consensual. A court filing on Wednesday made clear that Andrew wasn’t admitting any sexual contact with Giuffre, and wants a trial if the case isn’t dismissed. Giuffre’s lawyer asserts that Andrew’s defense continues to blame the victim.
