TRAFFIC ALERT: Santa Cruz County law enforcement cracks down on drivers

Thursday Scotts Valley Police Department hosts BADGES (Before Aggressive Drivers Get Everyone Stopped). BADGES is a county-wide program which targets aggressive drivers in designated areas.

SVPD will be joined by multiple traffic officers from around the county to help with the enforcement program. Officers will be watching out for aggressive drivers around Scotts Valley’s main roads and the streets around schools.

The department would like to remind drivers that all cell phone, seatbelt, and speeding violations will be strictly enforced during this time, so please remember to drive safe.
