King City police investigate an attempted murder shooting

Officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of River Drive in King City on Friday just before 3 p.m.

Officials said a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound arrived at Mee Memorial Hospital.

The King City man was in critical conditions and was taken to another hospital for treatment.

The suspect’s car was described as a newer-model Nissan Altima with front and back tinted windows and stock rims. The suspect was described as being in his early 20’s and clean-shaved and was wearing a black hat and black shirt.

King City officers are asking anyone with information about this case to contact them.
