Highway 1 paving project extended in Carmel
A Caltrans paving project has been extended for one extra day in Carmel, according to officials.
Crews said the maintenance project on Highway 1 near San Luis Avenue and Carpenter started on Monday, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
According to officials, the work was supposed to wrap up Tuesday, but was extended to Wednesday.
Officials said the paving project has backed up traffic.
