Three on parole or wanted for felony warrants from Salinas now arrested

The Monterey County sheriff’s SWAT team and detectives served a search warrant on Friday in the 400 block of Riker Street in Salinas.

Deputies said one person tried to get away through a window during the search but was caught.

All three people were arrested, according to deputies one woman and two men who have been identified as Rene Brooks, Adali Mendoza and Daniel Contreras.

Deputies said during the search a loaded gun was found, as well as a Taser, methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana, all for sale. The items were taken away for evidence.

According to deputies, all three were on state parole or wanted for felony warrants.

They were all arrested on gun and drug charges.
