Center & Pacific Street closed in Santa Cruz after accident

UPDATE: 2/10/17 7:00 P.M. Officials say they expect crews to reopen the intersection soon. A semi truck crashed into a power pole.

The Santa Cruz Police Department says the intersection of Pacific Ave and Center Street is closed in Santa Cruz due to a traffic incident.

The roadways are completely blocked and police say it is likely they will remain closed until Saturday morning.

Please consider an alternate route.
