Van slips into road gap in Santa Cruz Mountains

After rain pounded the Santa Cruz Mountains on Tuesday, a driver ended up in a very dangerous situation on a damaged road in Los Gatos.

According to Alicia Lopez-Nulph, the incident happened on Skyland Rd on Tuesday night.

One person was in the van and was able to safely get out. The van will stay in between the gap until the road dries and it’s safe to get out, according to Santa Cruz CHP.
