Point Lobos will close Friday due to weather

Point Lobos, south of Carmel, will be closed Friday Jan. 20, 2017 due to expected severe weather.

The closure was announced Thursday on the California State Parks website.

Officials say additional closure days are possible, and suggest visitors check the Pt. Lobos website before visiting. To view, click here.
