UPDATE: Two people shot on James Street in Salinas
UPDATE 12/29/16 5:23 AM: According to the Salinas Police Department, three people were working on a car in the driveway of a home at the time of the shooting.
That’s when one or two men walked down the driveway and began shooting at them.
A man was struck in the arm and a woman was struck in the leg.
Both were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. This incident is being investigated as possibly gang related.
PREVIOUS STORY: A man and a woman are recovering after being shot Thursday morning in Salinas.
It happened just after 1:00 a.m. in the 500 block of James Street.
Police say they’re still investigating what exactly happened, but there are no suspects in custody.
