Monterey County deputies play Santa Claus
A black and white sheriff’s vehicle did double duty as a sleigh on Tuesday.
Monterey County Sheriff’s deputy West played the role of Santa Claus and dropped off donated toys for the Nueva Esparanza and Door to Hope Center.
The Sheriff’s Department told KION that it credits the public’s generosity in helping local families celebrate the holiday.
