One person dead in Prunedale mobile home fire

UPDATE 12/7/16 4:35 PM: North Monterey County Fire officials believe a deadly mobile home fire was started accidentally, probably from a stove or heater.

Crews responded to the fire at 19590 Pesante Road just before 2:00 p.m. Wednesday and kept it contained to the mobile home. Inside, they found a body. The victim’s identity has not been released.

ORIGINAL STORY: One person is dead following a mobile home fire Wednesday in Prunedale.

Fire officials tell KION that the fire appears to have started inside the mobile home at 19590 Pesante Road.
