Gang member with loaded revolver arrested in Watsonville

A known gang member is off the streets, after Watsonville Police officers found him with a revolver Tuesday.

Police say it happened just before 8:00 a.m. in the area of Clifford Avenue and Pennsylvania Drive. Police were dispatched to the area over a domestic disturbance involving a black Mercedes sedan.

A resident told officers the suspect was seen with the vehicle holding a gun. Eventually officers were able to find the suspect on Lassen Way.

There, officers found a holstered revolver lying on the floorboard of the vehicle. The revolver was loaded and reported stolen out of Monterey County. Edgar Alfaro was arrested and booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail.
