Holman Highway off-ramp reopens

The full closure of the southbound Highway 1 off-ramp to Holman Highway 68 was completed ahead of schedule on Saturday, according to the Transportation Agency for Monterey County.

Construction crews worked 24 hours per day starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 to complete the reconstruction of the off ramp ahead of the scheduled opening on Monday, November 14, according to TAMC.

TAMC officials say, the Holman Highway 68 Roundabout Project will relieve congestion at the intersection of Highway 68/Highway 1.
