Roundabout to force road closure
Drivers will need to change their route to Pebble Beach, CHOMP and Skyline Forest this Veteran’s Day weekend.
The southbound off-ramp from Highway 1 to Holman Highway 68 will be closed for construction of the Holman Highway roundabout. The closure will start Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. and continue until Monday, November 14 at 6 a.m..
Southbound drivers will have to detour at Ocean Avenue in Carmel. Transportation officials said motorists can expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
The California Highway Patrol will assist with the closure. Only emergency vehicles will have full access at all times.
