Santa Cruz: Body recovered from water
Santa Cruz police and fire crews pulled a man’s body from the water near West Cliff Drive and Merced Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
A witness reported seeing the body in the water around 4:00 p.m.. The body was recovered and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his family. An investigation is now underway.
