Morgan Hill bank robbed, suspect could be linked to Livermore robbery

Morgan Hill police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Friday morning.

Authorities said someone walked into the Citibank on Monterey Road and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect was last seen walking east on East Fifth Street.

The suspect is described as either an African American woman or an African American man wearing a wig and disguise. The suspected stood 6 feet tall and weighed 180-200 pounds, wearing a dark brown wig with blond highlights, sunglasses, a gray scarf, light gray sweater, black shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes and carrying a white bag.

Morgan Hill police say a similar incident happened in Livermore, where someone robbed a West America Bank on June 10. Anyone with information is asked to call (408) 779-2101.
