Cal Fire investigating suspicious fire in Monterey County

Cal Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a small fire in Monterey County.

On Thursday night, fire crews were called out to a vegetation fire near the intersection of Monhollan Road and Deer Forest Drive near Monterey. While the fire threatened structures, firefighters contained it to half an acre.
