Carmel Valley gas station robbed at gunpoint

The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man responsible for holding up the Shell Service Station on Dorris Drive in Carmel Valley.

Deputies said a man walked into the store on Wednesday night, pulled out a gun, and held up the clerk. The clerk handed over money, and the suspect ran toward Carmel Valley Road.

The suspect was wearing dark clothing and had a bandanna covering his face but was described as a white man, standing 6′ and weighing 180 lbs. The gun was a black handgun, described as possibly a Glock. Deputies don’t know if he was working alone or had accomplices.
