Watsonville food cart vendor robbed at gunpoint

Watsonville police are searching for three teenagers who robbed a man at gunpoint on Tuesday night.

It happened around 9:00 p.m. at 225 Sudden Street in Callahan Park when a food cart vendor was approached by two teenagers asking for a food item.

When he turned his attention towards the first two young men, a third approached and pointed a handgun at the vendor’s face.

They demanded cash and were able to take off running southbound on Sudden Street.

The suspects were described as Hispanic teenagers between the ages of 12 and 14-years-old, wearing dark clothing. The teenager with the gun was wearing a bandana around his face.
