One dead, two injured in Castroville crash
One man is dead and two others were injured when two cars collided in Castroville Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It happened before 5:30 p.m. along Castroville Boulevard. That’s where a driver of a Honda Civic driving westbound lost control of the car and was side swept by a driver in a Ford vehicle, the CHP said. The 32-year-old man died on scene.
The CHP said a 39-year-old woman and a 17-year-old were in the other car. They were taken to Natividad Medical Center.
Officers don’t believe drugs or alcohol were involved.
