A peek inside one of Capitola’s most iconic condos
The Venetians are hard to miss in Capitola Village: the brightly colored condos that sit just steps from the sand, wedged oh-so-picturesquely between the wharf and the Stockton Avenue Bridge.
The bright pink home at the front of the complex built in the 1920’s is up for sale, for the first time in 50 years. The updated 3/2 is listed at $6.5 million dollars ($27k monthly mortgage payments, anyone?).
An open house on Sunday attracted plenty of lookie loo’s, unlike serious buyers from Silicon Valley who will probably get a private showing.
We posted a gallery of pictures so you don’t have to make the trip all the way to Capitola to check it out. Just click on the link under “More from Central Coast News.”
KION TV is Central Coasting to Capitola Village on Wednesday, May 25 for our 5pm and 6pm newscasts. We’ll have a story about the history of the Venetians, reputed to be California’s first condos. We hope you join us!
