Students compete to start businesses on the Central Coast

In this year’s Startup Challenge Monterey Bay participants split up into teams to work on about a dozen different busineses.

The groups had to develop anything from a design to an app.

“This experience has really been amazing,” said CSUMB student Victor Robeldo. “Just the diverse amount of individuals and everybody working together with a common vision and a common goal.”

Students later pitched their business models to a panel.
