Special ceremony to honor Korean War veterans
In a special ceremony, Congressman Sam Farr will join Korean Consul General Han Dong-man to honor Korean War veterans. The ceremony will take place on Jan. 22.
All veterans who served from 1950 to 1955 are invited, as well as their family members.
Organizers say it’s important to RSVP by the end of next week (Jan. 15) so all of the certificates can be prepared. Each veteran will also be honored with an Ambassador of Peace Medal.

The ceremony starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Oldemeyer Center in Seaside.
