Kayakers enjoy chilly weather in Moss Landing

Believe it or not but the chilly temperatures are makings some people want to get out on the water.

Kayak Connection says it’s been a busy week for them.

They tell us the winter brings out a lot of wildlife making it a more exciting adventure for kayakers who can see more than 50 different species.

“And it’s really good for locals especially,” said Lauren Kitayama with Kayak Connection. “In the summer we get people from all over the world who want to come kayaking but in the winter you know if your local stop on by cause there’s never a rush. We can get you in boats, we can do a lot of stuff.”

Kayak connection says the holiday weekend has also kept them busy.
