Gonzales High School teacher wins Classroom Makeover

Our local teachers often use their own money to bring much needed supplies to their classroom. That’s why NewsChannel 5 is asking our viewers to nominate teachers who need a Classroom Makeover. This week we visited Mr. Morasca’s class at Gonzalez High School.

Thanks to our sponsor Central Coast Federal Credit Union, Mr. Morasca was presented with a $500 check. Anchors Spencer Washburn and Amanda Gomez surprised him with the check for being another deserving teacher on the Central Coast.

We asked Mr. Morasca what he plans to spend the money on.

“Ah, probably for classroom supplies, and classroom supplies we go through a lot of different art supplies and different things throughout the year. So it will all go to that,” Morasca said.
