Luis Alejo running for Monterey County supervisor seat

Assemblyman Luis Alejo has decided to run for the District 1 seat on the Monterey County Board of Supervisors.

He announced the decision Monday on Facebook, even unveiling his campaign signs.

Alejo said he would rather return to local government than run for U.S. Congress.
