En route ambulance hit by car in Salinas
An ambulance on a medical call was hit by a car in Salinas Monday.
According to the Salinas Fire Department, a grey Mercedes was driving on East Acacia through the intersection with Pajaro Street when it clipped an AMR ambulance on Pajaro.
Residents in the area said the intersection is a problem because it’s only a two-way stop instead of a four-way stop.
No one was injured.
